Takhona holds the following qualifications: Msc IWRM- University of Zimbabwe; Bsc Agriculture & Biosystems Engineering – University of Swaziland (UNESWA). She is part of the International Network of the Young Experts Programme (YEP) #YEPbatch20, currently working with the Joint River Basin Authorities- Project Board in Eswatini, and have previous engagement with the National Agricultural Marketing Board.
As a young female in the water sector, she sees growth in the nexus field of water energy and food with candid participation in platforms of knowledge transfer, innovation, and policy implementation for the sustained use of our natural resources.
